Venue: Fyrish Car Park (OS NH627714; 57.7121, -4.3052)
Directions: From Delny Lodges go left out of the access road and left at the T-junction (Scotsburn Road). 0.7 miles from the turn go right onto a small road with grass growing in the middle, signed Ardross. In 3.8 miles you’ll give way at a crossroads beside Ardross School, go left here on Struie Road/ B9176 (signed Scotsburn). After 2.3 miles go right (small sign for Boath), one mile up this road is a large car park on the left (Signed Novar Estate in large letters, Fyrish Car Park in smaller ones). Car Park has recently been extended so there should be plenty of parking, even if locals get there first.
Short walkers option is pretty dry, longer trail options might be very wet and slippery under foot. We will bypass any active forestry operations but several areas have recent forestry work so paths and roads are churned up.
Views are spectacular if the committee have ordered up the same weather I had yesterday!!
