Directions From Milton Link take the A1 out of Edinburgh for approx. 10 miles, and leave at Gladsmuir junction. At the top of the slip road turn Right and follow the signs to Gladsmuir. At the third roundabout turn Left and drive into Gladsmuir on the A199. Pass the petrol station (very small!) and church on the left and after another 100 yards turn Right at the sign for Butterdean Wood.
There is a small car park on the right after another 350 yards.
By Bus: Take the No.104 East Coast bus, 09:22 or 09:52 @ West End (Melville Street) Stop QB, 09:32 or 10:03 @ Waterloo Place Stop ZK
to Gladsmuir (Gladsmuir Farmhouse) @ 10:15 or 10:51
and walk to the start
