Directions: Leave Edinburgh on the M9 and at Jct.5, take the A905 exit to A904/Falkirk/Grangemouth. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A9. Stay on the A9 for approx. 4.5 miles. At Rosebank Roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Main Street/A803/A9. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Glenfuir Road/B816. At next roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on Glenfuir Road/B816. Turn right onto Tamfourhill Road/B816 (signed Antonine Wall/ Falkirk Wheel). At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Lime Road, and park in car park.

Train/Bus: Take the 09:30 Glasgow Queen Street train from Waverley Station, arrives Falkirk High Station @ 10:03. Board the train at the front front (if it’s a six coach train board in the centre), when you arrive at Falkirk, head west towards the canal. At end of ramp, you can turn left up to the canal, and walk along the canal to The Falkirk Wheel,
OR turn right and go through the underpass, past the car park and down Drossie Road. At the crossroads turn left to the bus stop and take the No.3 bus to The Falkirk Wheel @ 10:44.
The 10:00 Glasgow train arrives @ 10:34, but only gives you 10 minutes to catch the bus. (You can walk it in 5 mins)
