Directions From Edinburgh by public transport: Take the 09:34 Dunblane train from Waverley Station arrives Stirling 10:35. Walk to Stirling Bus Station for 10:57 First Bus 59 to Callander. Get off bus at Bank Street, Doune. Walk over to Mercat Cross and up George Street which goes towards main road. Just before junction of main road turn left into Muir Crescent (Muir Hall is on the corner).
From Edinburgh by car: Leave M9 at Jct.10 marked A84 Callander, stay on the A84 for approximately 7 miles, passing Blair Drummond Safari Park, etc. On arriving at Doune and crossing River Teith continue for approx. quarter of a mile to first junction on the right, turn right then immediately right again. The Muir Hall is on one side of the road and The Woodside Hotel on the other. Please park with consideration for residents and church goers!
From Callander: Head back onto the A84 towards Stirling for approx. 8 miles. On arriving at Doune keep on A84 until you see The Woodside Hotel on your left. Turn left IMMEDIATELY then right into Muir Crescent. As above Woodside Hotel on one side of the road and the Muir Hall on the other. Park with consideration, etc…
