Venue: Bridge 49, Linlithgow (EH49 6LW)
Directions: Take the M9 toward Stirling. At Jct.3 take the slip road for Linlithgow. Follow the A803 through Linlithgow. After about two miles, at The Bridge Inn, turn left onto B825 for Whitecross. Follow B825 for about 1.5 miles, Bridge 49 is on the right after the bridge over the canal.
NOTE: You could take the train to Linlithgow Station and walk along the canal to Bridge 49, but it’s about 3 miles. (About an hour’s walk). If you arrive early the On Inn is open from 10am for breakfasts and hot rolls and coffee.
