Directions: From Edinburgh, go straight over Sheriffhall roundabout, take the Millerhill junction from the bypass, turn right at roundabout from slip road signposted Jedburgh A68. Follow A68 up the new road, turn left towards Haddington on A6093. Follow this road for 4 miles until you reach Pencaitland. With the Spar shop and petrol station on your left, turn right signposted Lempockwells. At the top of the hill turn left and follow road passing West Saltoun. After about half a mile past West Saltoun take a right turn signposted Saltoun Big Wood and woodland walks. Follow the gravelly road until you reach a car park.
