Directions: Take the A71 out of Edinburgh to Wilkieston. Go through Wilkieston on A71, then after approx. 1½ miles turn left onto the B7031 to Kirknewton.

By Train: Take the 10:26 Glasgow Central train from Waverley Station, arrives Kirknewton @ 10:51, if you do not want to do the On Inn, trains return @ 13:20 and 15:23
ON INN: BBQ afterwards at Chez Shirley & Sir (West Clifton Cottage)
