Directions: Take M9 out of Edinburgh – come off at Jct.3 (A803 Linlithgow), Turn Left at the end of the slip road. Turn Right (second exit) at the roundabout and head through the town centre. Turn Left opposite the Black Bitch pub (signed Beecraigs Country Park) Go up hill and round funny hairpin type thing. Take 1st left (signed Beecraigs CP), then first right (Beecraigs CP) Car Park is the third opening on the right (opposite entrance to the loch)
NOTE: You can get there by train, get the 08:51 Glasgow Queen Street train from Waverley Station, arrives Linlithgow @ 10:02 (due to engineering works), then walk uphill to the start. Trains back from Linlithgow are at :09 and :39 past the hour.
