NOTE: This Sunday is the Edinburgh Marathon so please note there are City Centre road closures in the morning, mainly around Potterow and the Mound and also on the A1 at Jocks Lodge.
Also the run directions in the hash sheet avoided Dalkeith Town Centre as there were roadworks and diversion. These have now been removed so an alternative, more direct route to the Campus is as follows:
Directions Leave Edinburgh on A7 or from City Bypass to Sheriffhall roundabout. Take the 3rd exit (A6106 to Dalkeith), pass Lugton village and go straight through the mini roundabout to traffic lights at the top of the hill. Turn left on the A6094 towards Dalkeith Country Park. Stay on the A6094 and at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit (Thornybank Ind Site B6414). After passing Sainsbury’s Local, turn left at traffic lights (signed Dalkeith Schools Campus), continue along this road and go straight through first set of traffic lights, then take next left at second set of traffic lights and park in School Bus Parking area.
