Directions Take the A701 out of Edinburgh and head for Penicuik. 1.6 miles after the City
By-pass, turn left at roundabout for Roslin onto the B7006 road. Go 1.3 miles from roundabout, through Roslin village and turn left at sign for Rosewell and Roslinlee on B7003. After 0.5 miles at bottom of hill turn left into Country Park.
OR: Take the No.37 Lothian bus, 09:55 @ West End,10:05 @ North Bridge, arrives Roslin @ 10:46, then walk to start. Go along road to Chapel then turn right before Chapel and walk down past old castle to the Country Park Car Park at bottom of hill. (ignoring any flour you may see!!)
